“Special Vehicle Development is an Engineering and Project Management organization within Volvo Group Trucks Technology. We deliver trucks for special applications and is also rapidly introducing vehicles with new advanced technology in areas such as electromobility, automation and connectivity.

We have a great passion for engineering and innovation, and our contribution is directly impacting the competitiveness of our premium brand Volvo Trucks.

For our highly skilled development team we are now looking for a new member with competence and experience in Electrical & Electronics. To succeed in this position we believe you to have a university degree, or similar, in the Electrical or Electronics domain with a few years of experience as a development engineer in the automotive industry”. 


Your key activities will be to:
– Perform pre-studies for new Special Vehicles projects
– Design new as well as adapting existing electrical system (incl. wiring harness) and secure that the electrical concepts fulfills requirements
– Verify physical parts/mock-ups and installation
– Be the interface to stakeholders such as customers, supplier(s), manufacturing, purchasing and aftermarket.
