We are now looking for a Lead Warranty Segment Leader to our team within Technical Analysis and Supplier Warranty Recovery (TA&SWR). The TA&SWR Team consists of around 40 people worldwide located in Greensboro, Hagerstown, Curitiba, Lyon and Gothenburg. In Gothenburg we are seen as Key Accounts towards the Volvo Brand sales area; Europe and International. Our main task is to drive the supplier warranty recovery (SWR) as well as contribute to warranty spend reduction for our suppliers by collaboration with Volvo Group stakeholders. Within the TA&SWR team we have globally established Key Skills mapping linked to equivalent class room and on the job training for each role. This will provide you with the possibilities to grow in your role as well as take on new challenges when the time is right. As Lead Warranty Segment Leader within the Volvo GTT TA&SWR organization, your focus will be to handle supplier warranty recovery activities and improve supplier warranty performance through analysis and cost recovery, directly impacting Volvo’s financial results. Your work will play a critical role in connecting customer experience with our products back to many groups within the Volvo organization. The Lead Warranty Segment Leader reports to the Director TA&SWR Sweden. While there are no direct reports, the Lead Warranty Segment Leader manages many of the day to day activities of the team and mentors others in the department to grow in the key skills needed to be effective as a Senior Warranty Segment Leader or Warranty Segment Leader. The Lead works in strong cross-functional collaboration with Trucks Brands Aftermarket teams, Engineering and Purchasing. We are looking for candidates that can think ‘out of the box’ and consolidate warranty cases, putting together technical analysis inputs, technical and contractual documentation, to build strong recovery cases towards suppliers.

• M.Sc. in Technical area (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical etc.)
• Proficient in English, verbally and in writing
• Quality management tools in project and quality root cause analysis tool
• Experience in commercial negotiation Merits
• Knowledge of aftermarket tools
